Jeweled Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried apricots
    1 1/2 c. pitted dates
    1 c. red and green maraschino cherries
    1 1/2 c. Brazil nuts
    1 c. red and green candied pineapple, cut up
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Line a loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3-inch, or 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch, with wax paper or aluminum foil (grease).
    Mix all ingredients; spread in the pan.
    Bake for about 1 3/4 hours or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Remove from pan; cool.
    Wrap in plastic wrap; store in refrigerator.
