Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 or 9-inch) pie crust, baked
    fresh strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
    1 pt. whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, cornstarch and salt.
    Cook until thick, about 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin. Put as many strawberries as you like in crust and pour mixture over berries in pie.
    Top with whipped cream.
