Chili With Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
1 large can tomato puree
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 can (15 oz.) dark red kidney beans
Preparation

In Dutch oven, cook beef, onion and green pepper until beef is browned and the onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
Add tomatoes and their tomato juice and spices.
Heat to the boil, reduce heat and cover; simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add kidney beans; heat thoroughly.
Makes four servings.
Garnish with grated Cheddar cheese, if desired.
