Rice Krispie Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. dates
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    3 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine in saucepan until dates are mushy: dates, egg, sugar and butter.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Allow to cool and form into balls.
    Roll in coconut while warm.
