Ingredients

2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced
1/2 c. plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. minced fresh dill weed or 1 tsp. dried
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Preparation

In a bowl, layer cucumbers with salt.
Cover with saucer and weight with heavy object (such as large fruit can).
Let stand at room temperature 1 to 2 hours or until cucumber juices are drawn out.
Drain well.
Add remaining ingredients.
Toss to mix.
Chill.
