Steak Sauce From The Middle Ages - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. blanched almonds, slightly toasted
    1 c. chicken or vegetable stock
    1 large whole wheat roll
    6 to 9 cloves garlic
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Soak roll in stock, then puree in blender.
    Add garlic, salt, pepper and almonds; mix together until well blended.
    Refrigerate, covered, or the fridge will \"remember\" the sauce for days.
