Oklahoma Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 3 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
3 Tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 c. beef broth
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Preparation

Brown meat; saute onion and garlic.
Add to meat mixture. Stir in chili powder, oregano, cumin and crushed red pepper; mix well.
Add broth, tomatoes (juice and all), tomato paste, salt and sugar.
Stir well, breaking up tomatoes.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
