Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted margarine
3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
1 c. confectioners sugar
2 c. thawed Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
1 (10 to 20 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
Preparation

Mix together pretzels, margarine and sugar.
Press in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Let cool.
Beat together cream cheese and confectioners sugar.
Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over pretzel crust.
Make jello according to package directions and stir in thawed strawberries.
Pour over cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate until firm.
Cut in squares to serve. Makes 20 to 24 squares.
