Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients; chop in margarine until coarse.
Quickly stir in buttermilk.
On floured surface, knead lightly and roll out to 3/4-inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutter or in squares with knife.
Dip tops in margarine melted on cookie sheet and place biscuits close together.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
Makes 10 to 12 large biscuits.
