Bev'S Popover Pancake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. milk or up to 1/2 c.
    nutmeg
    butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Beat egg.
    Add flour.
    Gradually add milk until smooth.
    Melt butter in shallow pan until bubbly; pour in batter.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
    (If you have used extra milk, lower temperature to 350\u00b0 after 10 minutes; bake until done.)
    Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, fruit or jam.
