Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 unbaked pie shell
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients; blend well.
    Slowly add hot milk. Pour in crust.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 475\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
