Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 unbeaten eggs
3 to 4 mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and soda.
Set aside. Add sugar gradually to shortening.
Blend in eggs, beating well after each.
Stir in bananas.
Blend in the sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Turn into 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan, well-greased on bottom.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
Cool before slicing.
