Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter
    1 c. extra fine sugar
    5 c. all purpose flour
Preparation
    Soften butter, mix sugar and flour until it round yellow ball. Line pan with wax paper and pat into pan, prick with fork. Bake till golden brown at 350\u00b0, it will brown around the edges, watch, it will burn quickly. Cool on a rack. Cut into squares. Size of pan determines the thickness of the squares.
