Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nut meats
Preparation
    Mix shortening and add other ingredients.
    Spread in buttered pan.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
