Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. small pieces beef
    3 potatoes
    4 carrots
    2 onions
    2 to 3 small cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cut up vegetables.
    Put beef in pan with cut up vegetables; add tomato sauce until almost everything is covered.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook on medium-high heat until tender.
