Lamb Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless lamb
    1 crushed large garlic clove
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    4 c. hot cooked rice
    2 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cut lamb into 1-inch cubes.
    Brown lamb, onion and garlic in olive oil in a large skillet or saucepan.
    Drain off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients.
    Reduce heat and boil gently covered, 1 hour or until lamb is tender.
    (Add more water during cooking, if necessary.)
    Serve with rice.
    Serves 8.
