Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1/4 c. canned milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream the butter and eggs.
Add sugar, cocoa and canned milk. Stir well.
Add flour and vanilla.
Beat until very light.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for about 30 to 40 minutes in an 8 x 5-inch pan.
