Sausage Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1 1/2 c. long grain rice
    hot sauce to taste
    water
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    salt to taste
    1 lb. sausage, sliced thick
Preparation
    Saute onions, bell pepper and parsley in olive oil.
    Add remaining ingredients with enough water to cover rice 1 inch. Cook until most of juice is gone.
    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Don't lift the lid for at least 15 minutes.
