Robbie'S Company Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    salt and pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in shortening in heavy skillet until all red color disappears.
    Add onion, tomatoes, ketchup, steak sauce, green pepper and parsley.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Cook macaroni, while other simmers, according to package directions.
    Combine macaroni and beef mixture in a baking dish.
    Season to taste. Gently spoon cream of mushroom soup into mixture.
    Mix lightly, lifting from bottom.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes, until top is bubbly and browned. Yields 6 servings.
