Watkins Tea Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar to a cream.
    Add the well beaten egg, salt and milk and sift in the flour and baking powder together. Dough should be very light, but if too soft, add a little more flour.
    Roll out on a well floured board and cut out with a biscuit cutter.
    Place close together in a shallow pan.
    Bake about 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
