Mississippi Mud Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 (3.9 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
2 1/2 c. milk
semi-sweet chocolate shavings (for garnish, if desired)
Preparation

Combine flour, pecans and butter.
Press in pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool.
Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, 2 cups whipped topping and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed with electric mixer 1 minute or until smooth. Spread over crust.
