7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed and dried on paper towels
    2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
    1 lb. bacon, fried until it crumbles
    1 c. Hellmann's real mayonnaise
Preparation
    In deep dish, put 3 cups lettuce.
    Sprinkle with tablespoon sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover with hard-boiled eggs and salt to taste.
    Cover with peas, more lettuce, cover with Swiss cheese, then bacon.
    Cover the top with mayonnaise so that salad is sealed completely.
    Garnish with garden onions.
    Cover with Saran Wrap.
    Let set 24 hours; toss before serving.
