Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg yolks, beaten
5 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. milk
3 egg whites
Preparation

Combine sugar, salt, flour, lemon juice and rind, melted butter and the beaten egg yolks.
Add the milk.
Have ready the egg whites, beaten and stiff.
Fold into mixture.
Pour into a pie pan lined with unbaked crust.
Put into a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 20 minutes longer or until filling is firm.
