Mincemeat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 tsp. soda
1 box mincemeat
5 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar

Preparation

Cut mincemeat up; add soda and boiling water.
Let cool; add eggs, sugar, salt and butter, then add flour.
Bake in a moderate oven (not hot).
