Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. margarine
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
6 qt. popped corn
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, margarine and salt in saucepan.
Cook until mixture is brittle when tested in cold water.
Add vanilla.
Pour in fine stream over popcorn, tossing lightly with a large fork to coat evenly.
Grease fingers; shape mixture into balls, pressing popcorn together lightly.
Yields about 3 dozen balls.
