Jello Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. boiling water
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries *
1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
3 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. broken pretzels
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip

Preparation

Combine water, jello and strawberries.
Chill until soft. Combine butter, 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar and crushed pretzels.
Pat into 9 x 13-inch dish.
Bake 7 1/2 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Cool.
