Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. dried or 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen black-eyed peas
3 qt. water
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Presoak peas. Drain. In large pot, place peas and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until tender (1 1/2 to 2 hours).
