Never Fail Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. dark Karo syrup
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 stick butter
    1 c. nuts
    8 marshmallows (optional)
Preparation
    Mix first five items together.
    Cook until soft ball stage. Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla, butter and marshmallows.
    Beat until very stiff.
    Add nuts.
    Pour in buttered dish and cut. Very good.
