Swiss Deer Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mushroom soup
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper
    venison steaks or chops
    flour
    butter
Preparation
    Pound steaks or chops in flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown in butter on both sides.
    Put in casserole or baking dish.
    Add mushroom soup and 1/2 can of water.
    Put slices of onions on steaks and cover.
    Bake for 1 hour at 275\u00b0 until tender.
