Cinnamon Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    In a small bowl sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
    In a large bowl, cream shortening and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add 1/2 of the flour mixture; mix after each addition.
    Form rounded teaspoons of dough into a ball and roll in sugar.
    Place on greased baking sheets then flatten into 1/8 inch thick circle.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until light brown.
    Cool on wire racks.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
