7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. iceberg lettuce or head of lettuce
    1 c. celery
    1 c. green onions
    1 c. green bell peppers
    1 can small early peas
    2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1 c. bacon bits
    2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    In a large bowl, layer the lettuce, celery, green onions, green bell peppers, peas, mayonnaise, grated cheese and bacon bits (jar or fresh).
    Put in order as given and let stand for 8 hours or overnight.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings or more.
