Chicken Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
    1/2 c. Italian flavored bread crumbs
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
    1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
    2 lb. boneless chicken breasts
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. basil, oregano, salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash chicken breasts and pat dry.
    In skillet, heat olive oil. In bowl, beat egg.
    Add bread crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano and basil.
    Dip chicken breasts in egg wash, then in bread crumb mixture.
    Place in hot oil.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Place fried chicken breasts on paper towel to drain.
    When finished frying, place chicken in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Bottom of pan should be covered with spaghetti sauce.
    After placing chicken in pan, cover with sauce.
    Add garlic and onion.
    Top with Mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil.
    Place in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Remove foil.
    Place in oven for 10 minutes.
    Take out of oven and let settle for 5 minutes.
    Serve with spaghetti.
    Makes 4 servings.
