Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    4 c. peeled apples, sliced thin
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt, baking powder and 3 tablespoons of sugar together.
    Work in half of the butter.
    Beat egg and add with milk to dry ingredients to form dough; pat into pan.
    Arrange apples into dough.
    Sprinkle remaining sugar over dough and pour remaining melted butter over, topping off with sprinkling of cinnamon.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
