Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1 c. finely chopped pecans
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugars.
Add egg and mix well.
Add oil, mix well.
Add oatmeal, corn flakes, coconut and nuts; stir well. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture, mix well and add vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake a 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until they are light brown.
This makes \"gobs of cookies\".
They freeze well.
