Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Combine flour and salt; mix well.
Cut Crisco into flour with pastry blender.
Add water and mix well and shape into ball. Divide into 6 portions.
Roll out on floured board, large enough to cover cored apple completely.
Place a peeled and cored apple onto prepared crust.
Into center of apple fill with sugar, cinnamon and a dab of butter.
Fold up crust to center of apple, dab with water to make crust thick.
Bake in oven approximately 45 minutes at 400\u00b0 or until lightly browned.
