Old-Fashioned Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry brown beans, soaked
    2 qt. water
    1 1/2 lb. meaty salt pork, rinsed
    1/4 tsp. ground pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery leaves
    1 medium onion
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in crock-pot.
    Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or high 5 to 6 hours.
    Makes 2 1/2 quarts; 10 servings.
