Nutmeg Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
4 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 1/2 c. hot milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar and salt.
Stir in hot milk and cook in top of double boiler.
Stir until mixture coats a spoon.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and nutmeg.
Chill.
Good on sliced pound cake.
