Chocolate Snowballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 c. finely chopped pecans
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla. Add sifted flour, salt, cocoa and nuts; mix thoroughly.
    Chill in refrigerator for several hours.
    Form into balls about the size of small marbles, between the palms of the hands.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake in a moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for about 20 minutes.
    Cool.
    Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Yields six dozen small cookies.
