Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    pinch of salt
    1/4 c. cocoa
    4 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Let first 6 ingredients come to a hard boil.
    Boil for 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla flavoring.
    Beat until mixed.
    Pour into buttered dish when it begins to thicken.
    Let it cool.
