Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

approximately 4 1/2 or 5 lb. beef brisket
approximately 1/2 c. or more Wish-Bone Italian dressing
1/2 c. water
1 pkg. Lipton beefy onion soup mix
1 small jar Green Giant mushrooms
2 jars Heinz homestyle brown gravy
Preparation

If you buy a packer-trimmed beef brisket, trim fat.
Store- trimmed brisket usually doesn't need trimming.
Marinate beef brisket with Italian dressing (enough to cover).
Can marinate for as little as 1 hour or so or up to 3 or 4 hours or more, turning every so often in pan you are going to cook in.
Pour 1 jar mushrooms (juice and all), beefy onion soup mix (mixed with 1/2 cup water) and brown gravy over meat.
