Ingredients

1 c. oleo, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. oil
1 c. crushed cornflakes
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. regular oats (not cooked)
1/2 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream oleo; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed with electric mixer.
Add egg and beat well.
Add oil and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in oats and remaining ingredients.
Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten each ball with a fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes; cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet and cool.
Yields 10 dozen.
