Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. raw nuts
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. water
1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Combine syrup, sugar, vinegar and water in iron skillet on high heat.
After sugar melts, add nuts, let boil until it turns a caramel color.
Remove from heat, add soda, stir briskly and spread on marble slab (a buttered cookie sheet will work).
When cool, break into pieces and enjoy.
