Diabetic Date Nut Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or corn oil
1/8 Tbsp. liquid sweetener
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. diabetic applesauce
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream margarine and add sweetener, egg and vanilla.
Beat together.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients and applesauce gradually to margarine mixture.
Beat at medium speed 3 to 4 minutes.
Fold in dates and nuts.
Pour in 1 1/2 pound pan. Bake one hour at 350\u00b0.
