Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 eggs
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 small container Cool Whip
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thick.
Beat eggs slightly; add to mixture.
Bring to gentle boil.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla, margarine and coconut.
Pour filling into pie shell.
Let cool.
Spread Cool Whip on cool filling; sprinkle 1/2 cup coconut on top.
Keep pie chilled.
