Ham And Asparagus Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. asparagus, cooked and drained well
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    paprika
    12 thin slices boiled ham or sandwich ham
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
    Stir in flour. Gradually add milk while stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper if desired.
    When sauce is thickened, stir in cheese and blend well.
    Set aside.
    Roll 4 spears of asparagus up in each slice of ham with seam side down.
    Place rolls close together in oblong baking dish.
    Pour cheese sauce over all and sprinkle with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until sauce is lightly browned.
    Serves 6.
