Quick Trick Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. date bar mix
2/3 c. hot water
3 eggs
1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. light molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 c. S & W Glace cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Combine date mix with hot water in large bowl; to this mix, add eggs, flour, baking powder, molasses and spices; blend well. Fold in S & W Glace cake mix, walnuts and raisins.
Mix thoroughly and pour into prepared pan.
Bake about 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool and wrap well.
Store in refrigerator.
