Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. uncooked macaroni
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 can tomato soup
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Cook macaroni using package directions; drain.
    Saute onion in 1/4 cup margarine in skillet.
    Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Cook until ground beef is brown and crumbly, stirring frequently; drain.
    Layer macaroni, ground beef mixture and cheese in baking dish.
    Combine soup and milk in bowl; mix well.
    Pour over layers. Top with mixture of bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons margarine. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
