Biscotti (Italian Cookie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar in mixing bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and baking powder a little at a time. Mix until dough holds together, then knead until smooth. Form into balls or finger shapes. Place about 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown, about 10 minutes. Cool. Ice with confectioners sugar frosting.
