Brownies(Yields 16 Squares) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. unsalted shortening
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. sugar
    3 unbeaten egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. flour, unsifted
    1/2 c. chopped unsalted nuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening together in a saucepan.
    Remove from stove; stir in the sugar, one egg yolk at a time, vanilla and the flour.
    Add chopped nuts.
    Spread the mixture in a shallow pan.
    Bake in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cut into squares while still warm.
