Waldensian Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 onions, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 dash hot sauce
    1/2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet (for color)
    8 oz. Mozzarella and/or Parmesan cheese
    French bread, thickly sliced and toasted
    7 c. water
    10 beef bouillon cubes or 7 c. homemade stock
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown (saute) onions in olive oil until golden brown in large pot.
    Add sauces, water, and bouillon to onions.
    Simmer in covered pot for one hour.
    Season with salt and pepper.
